Dr. Johnnie R. Bradley Sr. was born and reared in Pensacola, Florida and attended Pensacola Public Schools. Dr. Bradley was compelled to preach The Gospel at the age of nineteen years old.

Dr. Bradley received a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry from Dallas Baptist University in December 2006 and completed a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University in December 2009. Dr. Bradley received an Honorary Doctoral Degree from Oakdale Bible College for his Christian service and community support in 2010 and also an Honorary Doctoral Degree from Virginia University of Lynchburg in 2014. Recently, Dr. Bradley received a Doctorate of Ministry degree from Anderson University in Anderson, South Carolina, December 15, 2016. The topic of his dissertation was: “Preaching Forms Utilized by Dr. E. K. Bailey.”

Dr. Johnnie R. Bradley has been the servant leader of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church since August 2006. In November 2012, Dr. Bradley was elected as the 11th President of Dallas Bible Theological Institute (DBTI). DBTI was formerly the D. Edwin Johnson Bible Institute in Dallas, Texas. DBTI is a school with seventy-four years of history which trains men and women to serve efficiently and effectively in the local church as leaders.

Dr. Johnnie R. Bradley is married to the wonderful and charming DeAndra K. Bradley and the father of three sons, Joshua Lee, Jeremiah Hamilton, and Johnnie Rufus Jr. and one daughter, Jillian Kay.

Dr. Bradley’s greatest asset is being saved by the blood of Christ. He credits his accomplishments and success in ministry to God. In the Kingdom work, Dr. Bradley finds great joy building and exhorting the body of Christ.
